February's Newsletter ~ Sage

unraveling the remembrance of sage in the medicinal and the mythic

Hello dear ones, what a month it has been. Did you feel that too, or was it just me? Many things feel like they happened this month, yet not much at all. My beloved and I went to my family home in Ontario and got married. Yay! It was an absolutely expansive, heart-opening, holy time being surrounded by all those that I love and being witnessed and celebrated in my soul's union with another. My sister and her family surprised us...or I should say me, by appearing on scene unexpectedly, which was the greatest gift really that ever could have been for this time. It was a big family reunion having everyone home. That always feels special since all of us are scattered around the world here or there. In these moments the true richness of life is felt, and I remember how wealthy I really am. After this high, we came back to BC and I have been riding a descending wave into the still, dark earth ever since. The final descent before the rise of spring. I see this echoed in the weather as well, after a little warm period it has cooled again into a crisp, snowy wet landscape. My inspiration to write has dwindled. It has been hard to show up here, to be honest. And the more I don’t the more it feels like it’s getting away from me. I’m sure you know the feeling. Ideally, I like to post these newsletters more in the beginning of the month, or at least halfway through to give y’all time to really sit in its energy, but this time it just didn’t happen. I gave it all I got to share it before the month ended at least. You do what you can. That’s where we are at. Well anyway, it turned into the exact medicine that I was/am needing to support me during this season, as these newsletters always end up being for me, and I hope for you as well. I flow in this space of integration and visioning while being held and supported by sage. May this offering deliver to your heart the exact medicine that is needed to emerge with your full light energy into spring.
