The Beginning
What you will find here, are stories. Stories of the land, of the plants, of the womb. Stories of the moon, the sun and the stars. Stories that may be glimpsed in all things.
I felt like it would be fitting for my first share here to be one of an introduction. What does hedgewise even mean? Excellent question. I feel as though a name of a place is the first stone that reveals the kind of energetic container it is holding. Hedgewise is touching upon the ways that are in deep and inseparable communion with the world around. It is one not only in harmony with the rhythms that spiral through time and space, but the awareness of them. The turning of the seasons, the cycles of life/death/rebirth that are encoded onto all things. The elemental beings that bring colour to the world and movement to the wind. The poetry that is life itself.
What you will find here, are stories. Stories of the land, of the plants, of the womb. Stories of the moon, the sun and the stars. Stories that may be glimpsed in all things. We explore how, in a lot of ways, it is the same story. The same intelligence that makes up all of life. How one thing is not much different than another at its essence. It is a witnessing of life as it is seen through the eyes of spirit. Alive. Brimming with tales to tell. It is my devotion to it that called me to share these stories. Invite others to see the world in this way. Beyond logic. Deeper into the heart.
Here we are exploring this utter intelligence, the spirit that is in everything, as it is experienced and shared through me. They are living stories that are in themselves infused with life and desire. So then, they ask you to read and receive with the heart. With your own spirit. They cannot be understood with the rational mind or analyzed with linearity. They simply are. Existing for us to see, or not. Yet still, they hold a desire to be witnessed. To be remembered. Ah yes, there is that word. Remember. This space is indeed, a remembrance, of something we already know. And are invited to come back to. Life seen through the heart. Welcome back
.
