Thank you for sharing this beautiful story about your ancestors and forefathers. It has brought me much light in these dark times. Great power lies in rediscovering and connecting to ones roots. Much love from a fellow Balkan girl.
So happy to hear of your resonance with this story sweet sister 🤍 it has found you at the perfect time. May we continue to be nourished by the stories of our ancestors ( those human and non-human alike ) and deepen into the journey of their remembrance. Much love to you!
Last week I attended an evening of Indigenous storytelling, of the cultures native to this region sharing their new and old stories, in both English and traditional languages. I would love to know more of the stories of my own ancestors.
Sounds like a really lovely event <3 It is such a beautiful thing to receive stories traditional to different heritages. And especially so when we sit with those that come from our own, and have the gift of being able to share them with others. I encourage you to explore them for yourself and see what begins to be woven through that deepening connection! I too am still looking out for them, as a scavenger does, because sometimes I find they are buried and forgotten under quite some rubbish. With love and blessings to the journey dear one.
