You speak my language, Marija. I have not tried to address climate change yet and may share your writing instead for the time being.

My perspective might be slightly different in that I'm less sure that the warming climate is part of a divine plan, and I think it may indeed be a consequence of separation and domination that will cause a great deal of unnecessary suffering for our own and other species. Yet, at the same time, it will be woven into the great pattern of creation of the living Earth just as any other cataclysm or disruption, and ultimately it will bring life and stories into being that would not have otherwise been created, and then (as with the ice ages or the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs and gave rise to the age of mammals) it will be impossible to judge goodness or badness from the perspective of the far future. Like it or not, we are participants in the dance of creation, and we did not set out to warm the planet maliciously, even in our separation. A lot of the "humans are parasites" perspective seems to be an inversion of the paradigm that dominion over Earth is good, instead asserting that any change we create is evil.

I don't think it is good or evil. It just is, and we must adapt and live with the consequences, and we might well yet choose to stop putting so much carbon into the air. But we are not doomed, we are not being judged by an angry Earth or an angry God, and we do not need to confess our guilt or repent our sins before we can step away from separation into a more harmonious existence.

Thank you Markael for this rich comment. I am grateful for your thoughts that are added to this tapestry. I totally am with you, maybe it is not a plan per say, but simply the unfolding. How things have come to be based on choices that have been made throughout thousands and millions of years that have led us to this moment. And I agree, it is not purely good or bad, for life exists outside of our own ideologies and judgements and simply just IS. Now however we are living with the consequences of those choices and actions, largely made through the ideas of the human as being outside of the animal kingdom and outside the earth family.

It is an interesting opposition between people who don't care about the sustenance and respect for life, and those who have become distorted in their passion to "preserve" life that they have framed another aspect of it (us) as unworthy and toxic. Both try to control, both try and shape something to be what they think it "should" be. but there is no should's in the natural world. There is a middle path. One may walk with reverence for the earth (that is, for Life ) and also with firmly knowing their place within its unfolding.

Regardless, it all continues. However we choose to see it, it will indeed be woven into the great fabric of the earth and become a part of her story. A unique moment in her life. There is peace in knowing that we cannot destroy something that is eternal. Yet that should not dismiss the need to respect and care for the ways we show up here. How people can even play with the idea of moving to an entirely other planet where they would be completely dependant on artificial technology for survival is beyond me. I am staying right here. It feels very clear that once again the tower will crumble, the earth will shake, and something new will be born through what once was. I am comfortable accepting the "consequences" -but really innate unfolding -of life here. For it gives far more than it takes when one lives with ears and heart open and in communication with the living intelligence of the land. It enriches in exactly the ways we need, for we are made of the pieces of her. Our role in it all is our choice. I choose presence, I choose love, I choose a heart that beats in tune with the earths drum.

P.S. Your post is absolutely marvellous. Thank you for sharing it. I found it immensely enriching to this topic and perspective, it offered yet another way I may expand how I view it all by seeing through the eyes of the earth. An important perspective to take when musing upon these topics.

Thank you Marija. I choose presence. I choose love too <3.

And perhaps "consequences" was not the best word to use there. Fracking and mining have consequences, in the sense of clear and immediate harms. Climate change is something of a gray area. Burning fossil fuels generates CO2, and CO2 levels are rising, and to at least some extent that will cause warming, and indeed warming is what we are currently seeing. But we are interfacing with such complexity that even our best computers cannot model it with precision, and when we add in an understanding of the living intelligence of Earth who is not a passive victim but an active participant who might just have a need for a fever right now, then yes, I'll go with "innate unfolding" :-).

I appreciate that you have questioned the narrative that links climate change with human behavior while also pointing toward recognition of earth as more than a source of material resources to be coveted. While many relate to her through her elements, I feel a connection with the being for whom the planet is a physical embodiment. My wife is one able to open such that the consciousness of the earth can speak through her. In 2008 these words were part of a longer message:

"I am shifting frequency. Have you not noticed that things are warming up? I am shifting, and therefore you are shifting with me as I am shifting with you, and it is collaborative. You came in to be transformers, therefore you have taken on a role of coming into the density and transforming the density while simultaneously I have been transforming and shifting frequency, as well. So, we together are doing a great deal of work. It takes a lot of energy, and it generates heat. You would not have chosen to be here had you not been able to to work with this planetary body of mine to also assist your own embodiment."

"This process of warming and effects will continue. It is not something that I can stop, and neither can you. But, it is transformational as well. The process will bring people, nations, and cultures together, and there will be a greater and greater awareness of choices that can be made and will be made that will embrace the greater whole rather than keeping only a few people’s good or wealth in mind."

For anyone interested I will add the link to a website offering legacy material from our interactions with this great being.

As for the climate change narrative I give little credence to media stories we are fed and follow numerous competent sources capable of puncturing most every inflated or fearful claim made by MSM.

I look forward to reading your future articles.

Beautiful Chris, thank you for sharing such potent words. I love this reflection of the warming earth as being the result of great energetic work that is taking place here. That is a really lovely reminder of how our spiritual transformations hold their effects upon the physical world. Much work has been done in this regard, and continues to. The earth is our co-creator in that, which is again such a crucial piece of it. She is assisting us. Together we alchemize. The warmth is leading us into a new unfolding, may we find our path upon it with peace in our hearts.
